The Playground - A podcast by Shanila Sattar

Procrastination to Shame pipeline (Perfectionism Series) This type of perfectionist leads with AVOIDANCE and then it leads to SHAME. It’s like, when you avoid doing something for so long that it actually feels shameful to start it. You didn’t send that text, so the longer time goes by, the harder it feels to say “hey”.  The avoidance makes you procrastinate more and you start to believe false narratives of why what you’re doing is justified. These stories feel hella real. They sound and feel truthful. But even you can’t believe that BS. The guilt! From a nervous system perspective avoidance make the body uneasy. There’s a constant feeling of something hanging over your head. It’s an unspoken energy that keeps you from action. Do you relate? Come heal through perfectionism - we begin Feb 28, 2024 The 6 weeks are curated for community, connection, and healing from a deep psychosomatic, psychological, and emotional level, while leaving space to connect with the wisdom within. ⭐ Join IMPERFECT: https://tinyurl.com/imperfectyou
