Episode 223 - Watching the Dog

In this episode, I talk about my experience with pets. Raised as a non-pet person, my mom thought animals were dirty and belonged outside. Perhaps due to her farm experiences, she never allowed dogs or cats during my childhood years. That shaped me. Later, I married a woman with a dog. That was my first experience. Since then, I have had a few of my own, and they have been rich sources of instruction and blessing. Our current youngster, Cooper, is a 3-year old Aussi and as exuberant as they come. Racing and jumping are the norm. On the other hand, he can be so warm and contented, staring with those eyes… Contentment in a bundle.
