Mattie Elimina Perry was a lovely and colorful young woman who was fully committed to Jesus. She sought to serve the Lord with all her heart. She wanted to be a missionary in China, but was called by God to open and oversee an orphanage and Bible College in North Carolina during the late 19th century.
