An Interview with Mhara Starling

WitchSpace - A podcast by Witchspace Coven

Season 5 is all about collecting geminis from Llewellyn and we are absolutely thrilled to present this interview with beloved gemini Mhara Starling, the Welsh Witch! We loved her book Welsh Witchcraft and knew we had to have her on to discuss all things Wales. This episode has all the pronunciation and etymology us English speakers need when approaching Welsh mythology and history and it features both hilarious and insightful conversation about the path to becoming a witch and how Mhara's passion for her home has colored her witchcraft throughout the years. It was an absolute joy to talk to Mhara and we hope you enjoying listening as much as we did recording it!   From Llewellyn.com: Mhara Starling (Chester, England) was born in North Wales, raised on the Isle of Anglesey, and is a native Welsh speaker. She is a transgender woman who has been practicing witchcraft from a very young age, and her witchcraft videos on TikTok have more than a million views. Mhara is a celebrant and a tarot reader, and she runs moots, gatherings, and open rituals. She was featured in the BBC Wales documentary series Young, Welsh and Pretty Religious.
