History Worth Saving - A podcast by History Worth Saving

WARBIRD RADIO – Malcolm Laing from the Caprock Chapter of the Texas Air Museum joins us to discuss warbird happenings on the Llano Estacado. The Museum at Slaton, Texas has a wide variety of static and flying aircraft. Static displays include the F-14 Tomcat and the F9F Panther.  Flying aircraft include the AT-6, Reliant MkIII and three of the interesting Mitusbishi KI51 “Sonja” replicas.
Also joining us will be Joe Enzminger from the Central Texas Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.  The Centex wing is home the B-25 “Yellow Rose”  and she is in need of some support. Engine changes are never an inexpensive undertaking. The Wing is also home to a P-39 Cobra, AT-6 and the San Marcos, Texas hangar will soon be home to the D-Day survivor C-47 ” That’s All Brother”.
