We need breaks from decluttering, just like we need rewards from hard things. If we do no stop to celebrate our progress, we will become overwhelmed and stop making progress. There are ways we can approach decluttering that can make the process simple so that it will lead to success. After all, we're not getting rid of stuff just for the sake of getting rid of stuff. We are decluttering and getting rid of stuff so that we can live the lives that we actually want to be living. It’s about letting go of the excess so we can get to the heart of the matter and focus on what's most important in our lives. And making sure we have the energy to get to that finish line is of the upmost importance.
