But, that doesn't always mean it’s easy. Especially because most of us go into it without any idea of what we are in for. There is no manual or game plan that you’re handed when you become a parent. Sure, there are books to read and parent groups you can join, and while those things make it easier, we can still be left wondering if we are doing the right things for our kids. That’s why I am excited to be talking with Rachel Bailey about being the best parents we can be - without the guilt and expectation to be perfect parents. It’s not about doing more, or setting unrealistic expectations. It’s all about being real - with yourself and your children. Rachel Bailey is a Parenting Specialist who has been serving families for over a decade. Besides being a mother of two, she also has a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, a certification in Positive Discipline, and has provided services as an ADHD Coach, in-home mentor, and therapist. Through her podcast, programs, and services Rachel teaches parents hands-on tools for raising responsible, resilient children...while reducing the stress and guilt in parents' lives. This one was an eye-opener for me and I loved chatting with her. I know you’re going to love it too! This episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show will also help you discover: The truth behind what long-game parenting is How the long game is different than band-aid parenting Tips for getting your children on board when they resist your direction How she looks at big emotions (it’s different than what I thought) Ways we can help our children with attachment issues ********************** Music: Fresh Lift by Shane Ivers - https://www.silvermansound.com Happy by MBB https://soundcloud.com/mbbofficial  Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported — CC BY-SA 3.0 Free Download / Stream: https://bit.ly/Happy-MBB  Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/g6swHZbWtRc  ********************** Subscribe & Review Are you subscribed to the Wannabe Clutter Free podcast?
