Sensei Kozan, and Sensei Kaz remind us “without samsara there would be no practice”. When we consider this reminder along side Dogen’s quote “Between aspiration, practice, enlightenment, and nirvana, there is not a moment’s gap; continuous practice is the circle of the way.” We remember practice is not a path to awakening but is inseparable from it. Relish in this time of deep practice and find the circle of the way.
