Western States 2015: Brendan Davies and Cyril Cointre

Here are two fellas, both foreign, coming to Western States with different histories.  Brendan Davies, wearing M8, is, in his own words, winding down his competitive MUT career to focus on coaching, while Cyril nabbed an entry thru the UTWT and is using this as his first ultra in America. What fun! Both guys are great to talk to.  They’re excited for the race, reverential towards the field and course, and insist that one hundred miles is a long way and no one knows what’ll happen out there. Brendan’s love for coaching and his athletes shines through, while Cyril regales us with the story about how he spent two years of his life…wow!
