As Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver) and the Black Sky (Elodie Yung) keep the Defenders busy, the other fingers of the Hand prepare for war. Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) takes an opportunity to speak to the Black Sky and drives her from the battle by revealing he knows who she is. Meanwhile after battling with the factions Luke Cage (Mike Colter) captures Sowande (Babs Olusanmokun). He reveals that they will do anything to get the Iron Fist and threatens those they love. The Defenders start to bring those they care about under the protection of Misty Knight (Simone Missick) at the NYPD, just as the Hand try to locate the Immortal Iron Fist after the battle of the Royal Dragon. But despite their coordinated response cracks begin to appear between the fingers of the Hand as Murakami (Yutaka Takeuchi) reports a dangerous turn of events, that Daredevil, the last one to have loved the vessel known as Elektra Natchios, has joined with Danny Rand (Finn Jones). Madame Gao (Wai Ching Ho), Murakami and Bakuto (Ramon Rodriguez) question Alexandra’s unilateral actions to resurrect the Black Sky and pledge to form another plan to return to K’un Lun without their weapon. Meanwhile as Daredevil interrogates Sowande, about the Hands plan and Elektra he manages to escape his bonds, holding the Iron Fist at knife point, until Stick (Scott Glenn) uses his skills and katana to slice off Sowande’s head. The Black Sky grappling with her encounter with Matt Murdock has slipped Alexandra and has made her way to a very familiar apartment in Hell’s Kitchen.
