Gerard Long died of a heart attack, for thirty minutes. “The doctors expected to find the brain activity of cabbage,” said Gerard.  At 1 AM, Gerard and some buddies were streaming a World Cup rugby game between England and New Zealand. Suddenly, excited by a goal, Gerard went down. For half an hour, Gerard Long was lifeless. Our brains may be able to survive 5-6 minutes without blood flow, but never 30 minutes. How had Gerard survived? How were his mental capabilities not damaged? Was God saving Gerard for a special purpose?
