The Hebraic Book of Revelation – Part 5

Torah to the Tribes - A podcast by Matthew Nolan - Sundays

Revelation – Part 5 Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a scroll written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.  The seven trumpets constitute the content of the seventh seal. The breaking of the seven seals don’t constitute its content but are preliminary and preparatory to the actual opening of the scroll.  The events accompanying the breaking of the seals are not the end itself, but the events leading up to the end; while the contents are that complex of events which are both redemptive (land redemption) and judicial (judgement on Mystery Babylon) redemptive and judicial which’ll accompany the end of the world and the introduction of the world to come.   The contents consist of the material from 7:1 – 22:21.  2 And I saw a strong heavenly angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to loose the seals of it? 3 And no man in the heavens, or in the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. 4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, neither to look at it. History: Here is an enigma, a profound biblical truth which perplexes the whole world; apart from the person and redeeming work of the Lamb, history is a mystery. At the tree history was sealed by the Lamb, so undeniably the lamb is the only one who can unseal its content and close history once and for all – finality – apocalyptic finality.   5 And one of the elders said to me, Weep not: see, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll, and to loose its seven seals. 6 And I looked, and in the midst of the throne and of the four creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven ruachim of vuvh sent forth into all the olam. 7 And He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the kesay. 8 And when He had taken the scroll, the four creatures and the twenty-four zechanim fell down before the Lamb, having each one of them harps, and golden bowls full of spices, which are the tefillot of Yisraelite kidushim. 9 And they sang a renewed shir, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals: for You were slain, and have redeemed us to vuvh by Your dahm out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation; 10 And have made us melechim and Kohanim to our tvkt: and we shall reign in the olam. 11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many heavenly malachim around the kesay and the creatures and the zechanim: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and chochmah and strength and honor, and tifereth and brachot. 13 And every creature which is in the shamayim, and on the olam, and under the olam, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, Blessing, and honor, and tifereth, and power, be to Him that sits upon the kesay, and to the Lamb le-olam-va-ed! 14 And the four creatures said, Amein. And the twentyfour zechanim fell down and worshipped Him that lives le-olam-va-ed. This is a New Covenant scroll, an entitlement to the Millennial land, that can only be awarded by the One who is worthy to loose it.  Lev 26:3 – 27:34 We can enjoy the land if we enter in and are faithful to the commandment keeping terms of the New Covenant – it’s all about covenant. In the Torah 13 verses of blessings vs. 32vv. of curses.  The garden of Eden connection: obey and return or disobey be cursed and stay exiled;  Eden to Eden.  Vayikra 26:3 Blessings and cursing’s. א If you have your halacha in My chukim, and guard My mitzvoth, and do them; 4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And your threshing shall reach to th
