Elizabeth traces her love of winemaking to a single glass of wine when she was a biology major at Vassar College with plans to go to medical school. Instead, her science background and infatuation with wine propelled her to apply to UC Davis and its renowned winemaking program. Elizabeth started at Chimney Rock Winery as an intern in 1999, became assistant winemaker in 2002, and winemaker in 2005.
