Welcome to This Glorious Mess Little Kids. A twice-weekly look at parenting as it really is - confusing, exhausting, inspiring, funny, and full of surprises. So many surprises! In 2019 almost 1700 Australian lives were saved through organ transplants which, were made possible through the generosity of 787 organ donors. Today we're bringing you one of those stories. Cooper was just nine months old when it became clear his liver was failing. For Cooper's parents, Simon and Jess, this was something they never thought would happen. But, as time wore on it became clear that an organ transplant was the only option for their son to live a happy and healthy life. Simon joins Tegan and Leigh to share little Cooper's story.  Plus, this week's Listener Dilemma, gift-giving etiquette, to gift or not to gift?   LINKS The Great Registration Race for DonateLife Week runs all through July and August.
