It’s so hard to put into words how much fan boy admiration I have for Rickey Medlocke. I grew up listening to ‘Train, Train’ almost every day at lunch time, learning his licks, hell, I even bought a Hamer Standard because that’s what he played. I went to Rickey’s hotel on the day of the Nashville Skynyrd show and we met in the restaurant that was closed to do this interview, so you may hear some backround music.
