My current travel plans include Vienna, Helsinki, Japan, Peru, and Portugal. Lastly, a call to action: If you're enjoying my podcast, please rate and share it to help me reach more listeners. In this episode, I dive deep into my personal journey by participating in an ancient shaman ceremony. Making the decision to share this wasn't easy, but I want to honor the profound experience, the healing, the growth, and the joy, and pay homage to the ancient lineage of South American Shamanism and medicine. I'm still processing what I experienced during the whole ceremony. I invite you to approach this with openness, and if anything triggers you, set it aside, keep listening, and feel free to share your thoughts with me on Instagram later.I begin by exploring Shamanism – the Shaman, regardless of their gender, is seen as a priest, healer, teacher, guide, mentor, and conduit for the spiritual world, assisting in making the unknown knowable. I also delve into the role of Rapé, a natural tobacco used in rituals, ceremonies, and prayer, considered a sacred plant with immense healing and spiritual benefits. From there, I delve into the Tobacco purge, a purging ceremony designed to cleanse your body and rid it of blocked energy and possible parasites. My personal encounter with the ancient plant medicine was a journey of transformation. From receiving the first Rapé to drinking the mother's medicine, my experience was a rollercoaster of introspection, resistance, acceptance, and revelation. It was a confrontation with my fears and an exploration of the feminine energy that led me to understand and appreciate the polarity between masculine and feminine energies. In the process, I also had to forgive myself and acknowledge my past, realizing the powerful role that masculine and feminine energies play in our lives. I found that the archetypes of King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover - popularized by psychoanalysts Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette - are deeply embedded in our individual and collective psyche. Each archetype holds valuable lessons and challenges. By exploring them, we can develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationships.King - the sense of order, authority, and benevolent leadership.Warrior - determination, action, courage, and loyalty.Magician - wisdom, knowledge, and transformation.Lover - passion, empathy, and appreciation for beauty and sensuality. To all my listeners, the journey doesn't end here. It is a continuous process of understanding and self-discovery. And, remember, the real ceremony is the ceremony of life. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to sharing more with you in the next episode.Resources:- Book: "King, Warrior, Magician, Lover" by Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette- Video: Alan Watts Lecture on YouTube This is a public episode.
