On this week's episode, Mike and Steve had the privilege to speak with Linda Franklin, President & CEO of Colleges Ontario, the advocacy association for Ontario’s 24 Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology. Since joining Colleges Ontario in 2007, Linda has witnessed some incredible transformations to the province's college system, particularly in the realm of applied research. During their conversation, she recounts some of these changes and talks about the important work that she and Colleges Ontario are doing to dispel some of the misconceptions about a college education. After chatting about how colleges continue to help companies innovate, especially during the pandemic, the guys end the episode by talking with Linda about her previous role as CEO of the Wine Council of Ontario, where she presided over some important changes that helped transform the province into a preferred destination for wine.
