Anna Finch

Award-winning author Anna Finch lives in Melbourne, Australia where she works as an English and Humanities teacher by day and as a writer by night.Prior to the release of young children’s fiction, Anna Finch published a Young Adult Urban Fantasy novel, Voiceless: A Mermaid’s Tale, which has won a number of awards and was in the top 20 books of 2022 in the Outstanding Creator Awards. Both of her children’s picture books, Hide and Seek Alphabet: With Australian Animals and Mellie the Mermaid: Is NOT Scared of ANYTHING, have become finalists and winners in multiple awards.Hide and Seek Alphabet won the BREW Excellence Award in the Australian category as well as the Literary Titan 5-star award and was a finalist in the American Writing Awards.Mellie the Mermaid won the 2023 Firebird Book Awards in Children’s Preschool books and was a finalist in the American Writing Awards.
