Celebrating and watching for our WITH God

By the light of nature we see God as a God above us, by the light of the law we see Him as a God against us, but by the light of the gospel we see Him as Emmanuel, God with us. Matthew Henry   In this episode we’ll talk about the wonder that the God of Christmas is a ‘with’ God and what that means for us. How essentially, Christmas is the first page in the gospel story! We’ll walk through many of the places where God declared himself as our ‘with’ God before we even get to the birth of Christ.  Since Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, according to the writer of Hebrews, we can count on this being true for us as well! Come with me as we enter into the Christmas season with a deeper understanding of our Emmanuel, and we leave our time together with a song of joy!
