Hi Friends and Family, Want to learn a few mindfulness tricks without feeling out of your depth or separated from the way you do life today? Sure! You got it! At this point, American society has an awareness of the term "Mindfulness", but it still seems to be a niche exercise associated with certain groups like hipsters, yogis, or spiritually minded individuals. I am happy to say that mindfulness is more generic than its stigma. There are some clarifications to be made and distinguishing mindfulness from a relentless positivity that glosses over or ignores the troubles that we face is what we are going to focus on here. Unfortunately, there is still so much ground to cover. I think that one hour is just not enough time to sum up the complex body of work that mindfulness is deserving of.
