Born and bred in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Nick began playing drums at age 15 while simultaneously helping run his family’s restaurant businesses. Over the years, his entrepreneurial side increasingly influenced his artistic trajectory. So while he’s been working as a professional drummer since 2001, touring nationally with multiple artists and managing a successful solo career that yielded a top 50 record, he’s also developed his roles on the business side of the industry, including artist management, booking, talent buying, and artist relations.
In 2013, Nick recognized an opportunity to provide valuable insight for drummers and launched Drummer’s Resource, a podcast and online community where he provides weekly interviews with the world’s greatest drummers and music industry professionals. Drummer’s Resource has become the #1 drumming podcast in the world, boasting hundreds of thousands of downloads per month and over 500 episodes to date. Nick champions the full network of talent behind the music — from the musicians, producers, and engineers creating the recordings to the industry leaders helping bring them to market. With deep industry knowledge and endless enthusiasm, Nick continues to build Drummer’s Resource as well as Revoice Media, a podcast production company he co-founded in 2017.
Revoice aims to share stories about the people, places, and movements behind music and entertainment culture.
