Data as Protest: Data for Black Lives with Yeshi Milner

How can we claim agency over data systems to fight for racial justice? What is Data for Black Lives? How can you join the movement? To answer these questions and more we welcome Yeshi Milner to the show.   Yeshi Milner is the co-founder and executive director of Data for Black Lives. Raised in Miami, FL, Yeshi began organizing against the school-to-prison pipeline at Power U Center for Social Change as a high school senior. There she developed a lifelong commitment to movement building as a vehicle for creating and sustaining large-scale social change.
