Brigid Hopkins IAM Symposium 2021

Brigid Hopkins is the Program Manager at The Practical Shaman.com. Her talents for organizing systems, masterful coaching and keeping the ducks in a row have greatly rewarded this community-driven organization. We work together to bring quality programs to various individuals with diverse needs and goals. Over her lifetime, she has worked her way into numerous leadership roles where she learns that the leader stands at the back of the pack. At the Practical Shaman, we share a common understanding that we are each two hands in the circle. Together hand by hand, we are bringing the emergent body of ancient wisdom back into the collective consciousness. While my daily tasks are practical and applicable, the more significant portion of my position is to lean into trust and away from dominance or control. When not working behind the scenes to assure smoothly operating programs. You may see her in front of the camera teaching. Other times you may find her in a forest gathering fallen items in her medicine basket, readying to prepare a love offering to the lands she lives upon, as a devotional practice gifted by the Winds, known as Impermasculptures.
