Alana's 3 births - (birthcentre and home) - the calm despite the drama

In this episode Alana literally entertains us with the powerful stories of her 3 babies. There are tears, loads of laughs, goosebumps, some F bombs and.........lots of drama. Despite the drama around Alana she was able to stay in the zone, stay calm and use her hypnobirthing stuff to enjoy birth, be in the moment and do her thing. First baby Duncan came early so that Alana went into labour at work, and he came early to meet Alana's grandma who passed away shortly afterwards. In labour Alana spent lots of time in the car, moving in different directions and ended up with a Birthcentre Birth. Second baby Richie came at home just before lockdown 2020. 3rd baby Gwyneth came after the family had gone though lots of viruses and Dad Gareth had just broken out in shingles. This meant Alana needed to birth without Gareth holding her, giving her the experience of feeling the power of knowing she had everything within her to do this. If there was one episode that could make it onto 'One Born Every Minute' this would be the one - but only because of the situations surrounding Alana, not from her response - full credit to her ability to laugh through the curve balls and use her skills to create the best births possible.
