Reflections | Connection, Attention, Intention

In Episode 57 of The PE Umbrella Podcast, I delve right into the third step from 'The Five Steps to a Winning Mindset', as highlighted by Professor Damian Hughes, but with a slight twist. Initially, my focus was going to be all around 'Emotion', but after digging deeper into the book, I decided to base my reflection around 3 key points that contribute towards delivering a powerful lesson and creating a purposeful learning environment. These 3 areas are... CONNECTION ATTENTION INTENTION This episode is a brain dump of sorts, as I reflect on my own practice in these areas as well as ask you, the listeners, questions about your own teaching. How are you forging and building relationships? Do you honestly show an interest in your students? How do you get the attention of your class? Is there an intention and purpose to your teaching? All of these questions arise from this episode and as always I hope there is at least one golden nugget of information you can take away and think about.
