The duo talk about their love story, the struggles of becoming a step-parent (something 40% of families across the U.S. are coping with), and their blended family that inspired their new children’s book, “Better Together.” They open about Amy’s breast cancer diagnosis three years after they were married, how it impacted their relationship, and also how it inspired them both to live life more fully. Amy and Andrew also talk about how much therapy has helped them over the years, especially in building trust in one another, saying it’s unlikely they would be where they are today without it.
