#10 How do we want what we have?

The Mothering Myself Podcast - A podcast by Susan Kinahan

We have been sold the idea that the grass is always greener. Our consumption-driven society encourages us to want more, do more, and be more, without celebrating where we are and what we have. We live in a world of constant salesmanship where we are marketed comparison, and we have learned to compare ourselves to everyone and everything. How can we reclaim our personal power to truly want what we have, and desire to be who we are? When we accept where we are and what we have, we know that we have everything we need to be exactly who we are in the present moment. We examine how we can align with the energy of our now moment to feel the abundance that surrounds us, despite what external circumstances look like. We discuss wanting ourselves, accepting ourselves, and embracing ourselves without needing to be anyone else or have anyone else’s life.  We also hear Charlotte’s, 32, letter to her younger self, from Fort Lauderdale FL.
