Expectation that a funding boost for our wood processing sector will target New Zealand's slash problem. A new $57 million government fund aims to process logs onshore, move the industry from volume to value and create high wage jobs. It's estimated the fund will see up to $650 million more Gross Domestic Product over its lifetime.
