The tourism sector is focusing on the future a year after borders were fully opened following the pandemic. Tourism Industry Aotearoa Chief Executive Rebecca Ingram says last summer was a good start, producing two-thirds of the pre-Covid tourism numbers. Ingram says they knew it wouldn't be a quick switch and she expects it could take a couple of years to get back to normal. She told Mike Hosking that the sector is still looking to improve.
