Max Tweedie: Auckland Pride Executive on Chris Hipkins HIV action plan

Chris Hipkins announced at Auckland's Big Gay Out yesterday that he has a new plan of attack for HIV prevention. Hipkins used the event to launch a new HIV Action Plan and an additional 18-million in extra funding to tackle HIV. Auckland Pride Executive Director Max Tweedie says that it's a step in the right direction. He says it helps with the problem of people not feeling they can come forward for testing or access treatment when they're diagnosed. Tweedie says it's therefore part of the broader goal to end HIV.
