According to a study in Japan of more than 66,000 children up to the age of 3, 22 percent of kids exposed to dogs were significantly less likely to have egg, milk and nut allergies. While kids with cats were less likely to have egg, wheat and soybean allergies. But for kids with hamsters they had significantly greater incidence of nut allergies.
