Greyhound racing is still on notice. The most recent report from the Racing Integrity Board, which is the fourth report into greyhound racing over the past decade, has found that injuries are still trending upwards, the industry has been slow to respond to track safety concerns, and there's an "urgent need" to improve data to understand outcomes for dogs that end up in rehoming programmes. Racing Minister Kieran McAnulty says the two options for greyhound racing are to continue under strict conditions or close completely.
