A former treaty negotiations minister is pouring cold water on the Greens' new treaty policy. The party wants to allow the Crown to negotiate buying private land from prospective sellers, to return to Maori. It's also looking at establishing a Commission of Inquiry into stolen land. Former National Party Treaty Minister Chris Finlayson told Mike Hosking that politicians across the board have worked on this for years.
