National's housing spokesman says his Party's tenancy KiwiSaver policy was inspired by lobbying from young Nats. Chris Bishop says if elected, National would let under-30s prematurely access KiwiSaver funds, to help pay for flat bond fees. He said that while it is “dead money” for that time period, at the end of the day people will get the money back and it will make a difference for those who need it.
