Palmerston North Hospital is getting a ‘kids only’ waiting area in the emergency department. Design work has begun on the area, which has been put forth to keep kids away from weekend drunks and other distractions. The money won't be put up by the public either, it's come from the Palmerston North Hospital Foundation and chair Brendan Duffy joined Mike Hosking.
