Bjorn Baker: Kiwi horse trainer previews the Melbourne Cup

Regardless of if you're a regular punter, or a partaker of a once a year flutter, the Melbourne Cup captures our imagination every year. The Kiwis have a rich history in the race, we won't get into the Phar Lap debate - we know he was a Kiwi, and Kiwi jockey James MacDonald was successful last year. The weather hasn't been great in Melbourne, so wet track form will likely be the key for horses and racegoers alike.
