Breast cancer is the most common cancer for Kiwi women and the third most common cancer overall and two new reports have discovered new information into breast cancer screening in New Zealand. In the past two years 50,000 women have missed out on breast cancer screening because of Covid disruptions. These delays may have harmed patients with their cancers being in a more advanced stage when they were discovered.
