SHENIECE CHARWAY - Artist Relations Manager, YouTube and YouTube Music

Having started her career in marketing at Columbia Records, Sheniece is now Artist Relations Manager at YouTube and YouTube Music! Sheniece has worked with some massive artists including George Ezra, Rick Ross, Skepta, Stefflon Don, Wretch 32 the list goes on! We dive into her career history, the importance of making yourself indisposable, along with some of the amazing projects she spearheaded in 2020, including YouTube Music's Excellence Brunch which celebrated the best of Black British Culture in Music and The Legacy Series - a series championing Black fashion designers and Black Musical Talent. Sheniece is also an ambassador for the PRS Foundation Power Up campaign and is passionate, like many of us, about tackling anti-Black racism in the music industry. Like all our episodes, this episode was recorded remotely.  Hosted on Acast.
