Case 8 Tape 2: New Friends

In This Episode: After their misadventures in the bayou, Dan, Jack and Roy recuperate back in Arkham for a relatively quiet year. The nightmares fade somewhat, and they settle back into the humdrum of so-called "normal" life. Before long, they drift further and further apart. One Sunday morning, Jack and Roy suddenly discover Dan has gone off on his own, on a mad quest to somehow communicate with his dead fiancee Samantha Blaine. A cheeky stranger named d3t0x, offers to help the two FBI agents in their search for Mr. Williams. They follow the clues to a decommissioned government research center on Bloodsworth Island in the Chesapeake Bay. Inside, they discover tar-dripping goo monsters and realize too late they've stumbled into a deadly environment. Unfortunately, d3t0x is infected with a zombie-like virus and quickly turns against the other two. A bullet to the head ends the perky hacker's life, after which Jack and Roy flee the haunted ruins.
