Introduction to the Pastoral Epistles

The Listener’s Commentary - A podcast by John Whittaker

The Pastoral Epistles refers to 1-2 Timothy and Titus. They have been referred to as the “pastoral epistles” for the last 300 years because they give pastoral guidance to two of Paul’s co-workers in ministry: Timothy in Ephesus and Titus in Crete. In these letters we see Paul’s affection and connection with two of his co-workers as he urges them to be faithful, provides then with instruction on how to guide the churches they are working with, and offers a vision of pastoral ministry  BIBLE READING GUIDE - FREE EBOOK - Get the free eBook, Bible in Life, to help you learn how to read and apply the Bible well: https://www.listenerscommentary.com     GIVE -  The Listener’s Commentary is a listener supported Bible teaching ministry made possible by the generosity of people like you.
