Presence Over Presents

In this episode, we're joined by former Cincinnati Bengals WR Tim McGee. Tim is a husband of 35 years, and a father to three beautiful daughters. Tim is now a serial entrepreneur, still based in Cincinnati, OH. There was a structure to this episode, but as you know, conversations between friends can often take a turn. Tim talks about his post-football life, and offers that he's received that he turned down in order to be present with his family. He believes in presence over presents, and that there's no amount of money that can replace being there for his family. Of course, he still is balancing work and play, as he's got a six-figure education bill for his daughters! Things went off-script when they began talking about the direction of the Bengals, what they should do with their draft picks this year, and then somehow they ended up trying to determine who was the better basketball player.
