Jake joined Dexcom in March 2004 to lead development of sensor electronics which were part of the first generation Dexcom system. Jake has served in various roles within Dexcom including Senior Vice President of R&D, Senior Director of R&D, and Manager of Engineering. From 1996 to 2004, Jake held positions in research and development at MiniMed and subsequently Medtronic Diabetes, focusing on the development of glucose sensing systems. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
