Kamala Harris has chosen the Minnesota governor, Tim Walz, to be her running mate in November's presidential election. Mr Walz is a former teacher and military veteran, who's expected to appeal to rural working-class voters. He's made an impact on social media in recent weeks by labelling former President Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, as "weird".
