What could we be doing better to combat climate change?

The Front Page - A podcast by NZ Herald

What will it take for our politicians to start taking climate change seriously?  The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has released its latest report, again warning governments around the world that time is fast running out.   This comes only weeks after the devastating impact of Cyclone Gabrielle.   And yet, despite all these warnings from experts on what should be done, our politicians are still arguing about the best course of action.   So what is the best approach to climate change? Do the richest people in the world need to start doing more? And can a small nation like New Zealand actually make any difference?     Today, Oxfam’s Climate Justice Lead Nick Henry shares why he believes it is still possible to stop climate change and end poverty.  Follow The Front Page on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
