The Ethical Evolution Podcast - A podcast by Ethical Change Agency - Sundays

Ivan "Flipz" Velez is a legendary B-boy, TV Host, and international breakdance judge. Known for his signature move, the “Prayer Flip,” which he performed in the hit movie “You Got Served,” Flipz has appeared in 36 feature films and 17 major dance films including “Honey,” “Stomp the Yard,” “Step Up 3D,” and “Battle of the Year.” He has toured the world with top International music icons including Madonna, Missy Elliott, Spice Girls, and LL Cool J. Flipz is also the founder of Skill Methodz Crew, one of the most elite B-boy crews in the world.  Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Flipz started his dancing and gymnastic training at an early age but didn’t get into breaking until his family moved to Miami when he was in junior high school. He honed his skills and became known in breaking competitions as “the guy that flipped” and thus his nickname, “Flipz” ignited. Never forgetting the childhood house fire he saved his family from, Flipz created FOOTPRINTZ. This foundation gives back to underserved communities through dance education workshops that provide industry knowledge and clothing donations to its participants.  I enjoyed every second with Flipz which was raw, emotional and uplifting all at the same time and I hope you do too.
