Breaking out initially as a DJ, Maxim Lany has been building his career in music for nearly two decades with a stream of successful original releases and remixes for artists such as Armin Van Buuren and Lost Frequencies. We start off with Maxim Lany’s background, discussing how he initially got his start in music. He explains how he turned his passion for DJing into an actual career, and what prompted him to start working on and releasing original music. He discusses the main lessons he learned from his production mentors, and how he found a balance between a sound that straddles the line between underground and commercial. On the production side, Maxim breaks down his overall philosophy towards writing and producing music.
