34 | Releasing shame through the Throat Chakra
The Current - A podcast by Nadia Last

Shame is the most insidious and destructive emotion, and yet it’s something that we all experience, usually in isolation. Today I'm joined by my good friend and business collaborator, Sam Pfotenhauer (@wildriver), to discuss ways we've each learned to move shame through the body, particularly by sharing our voice. We share personal stories of ways we used to keep ourselves small and how we learned to overcome fear, shame, and stuck-ness to share more of ourselves, even when it feels like a new and intimidating edge. Near the end of this episode I am exhilarated to report that I modeled sharing my own edge by singing publicly! To date, singing has been a private, daily meditation but I've been feeling called to share my voice with others for healing. This first debut is shaky and nervous, but guess what? We all need to start somewhere. Sending you love during whatever new beginning you find yourself embarking upon. May you be filled with the courage to share your whole self with others for greater clarity, connectedness, and healing. --- About Sam: Sam Pfotenhauer is a healer, coach, human design reader and psychic channel, as well as the host of the Wild River podcast.
