Our world is evolving at breakneck speed, with 90% of our time now spent indoors—the majority of that time spent in front of screens. Most of this change has only taken place over the last 100 years. Our bodies—having evolved over millennia—haven't had the opportunity to catch up. Becca Piastrelli's work is helping us look back to the ways things used to be, reconnecting us to our ancestral ways of living. She helps folks come back into communion with the land they inhabit, live seasonally, reclaim culturally-respectful rituals, and "re-village" by connecting more meaningfully with their community. She's the author of the book, "Root & Ritual: Timeless Ways to Connect with Land, Lineage, Community, and the Earth." She also hosts her own podcast, Belonging.
