Negative people stack upon themselves and build even more negative energy – it’s important for you to know that negativity is contagious CONTRIBUTORS TO NEGATIVE ENERGY * Lack of sleep or poor sleep * Anger and resentment * Perfectionism * Jealousy and comparison * Being around the wrong people * Oversaturation of social media * Fear, overwhelm or intimidation * Feeling sorry for yourself or self-pity WAYS WE EXPRESS NEGATIVITY Pity parties / pouting Pride (proving ourselves when we fearfully doubt ourselves) Perfectionism Complaining Cynicism Extremism (it’s always going to be like this, this will never end) Criticism Lack of action (what’s the point) Doubt Negativity Bad attitude Scarcity thinking Forceful language Body language Overwhelm Overthinking Isolation HOW DOES IT SNEAK INTO YOUR LIFE? -Busyness -Not being mindful of its insidiousness -Toxic influencers -Gossip -Complainers -Feeling out of control / without a plan -Lack of knowing your values -Not taking ownership or leadership in your oval office of influence -Too much social media / comparison -Media and negative news REFRAME NEGATIVE ENERGY If you must doubt something, doubt your limits. If you must complain about something, complain about injustice. If you must feel fear, fear not living life to the fullest. SIMPLE WAYS TO SWAP ENERGIES FOR HAPPINESS: Know that your words guide how you feel the rest of the day – there’s a domino effect Remember that happiness is a daily choice that you make, not others Set your day up with positive habits (identify which habits you have are positive promoters) FOR HEALTH: Exercise and move daily – do things you enjoy Practice doing things physically that challenge you so you can push negative energy away FOR MORE SUCCESS: Know that your belief will determine your success (and your income) – new webinar coming up this next month – stay posted!
