HOW TO MAKE YOUR SMALL ACTIONS HAVE A BIG IMPACT PODCAST #226 In this episode of Confidence on the Go we’re chatting about: * How to live in such a way that you really believe and live out the methodology of small actions truly leading to a big impact * Two methods and quick activities that will strengthen how you value your small actions in your subconscious * How to start getting obsessed over the small things – and to not get tired in the process As always, a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners, thanks for being a part of this extended community of contagious encouragement. SPONSORSHIP NOTE:  I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone.   The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause.   Shop for your own Beautycounter collection at www.beautycounter.com/trishblackwell QUOTES ON THE BIG IMPACT OF SMALL ACTIONS The man who moves a mountain begins with one stone at a time. Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. –Mother Teresa Great things are done by a series of small things brought together. –Vincent Van Gogh It is the small things in life which count; it is the inconsequential leak which empties the biggest reservoir. –Charles Comiskey Notice the small things. The rewards are inversely proportional. –Liz Vassey CREATE A SMALL-THINGS LIST Small things I personally commit to on a daily basis: To love well To learn something To do something that is hard To do something that scares me To move my body To move the needle of a goal forward To read something To breathe in love through hugs, kisses, touch To reach out to someone else To be generous To set my mind right To push myself physically To rest myself physically To commit to gratitude In order for your small actions to add up towards something that matters, you must first decide what it is that you want to matter! To have big impact, you need to know what you are walking and working towards – without that defined, your small actions aren’t able to be compounded and compiled into one area or one thing. Know what you are working towards! REMEMBER THE SMALL THINGS THAT MOVED YOU The small gestures, words and actions of others can change your life – when you remember their influence over you, you are more empowered to be consistent and unwavering in your own commitment to the small things in your life. Small things that changed my world: -“Go be Trish” -“There’s only one Blackwell” -God cares how you empty the dishwasher -Generosity of an unknown for FOCUS camp -“You were created to be world-class” –TD -“You look adorable pregnant” -“You can run a sub-3-hour marathon” – Debi -Pearl cross given to me by Kim -Detailed and generous baby showers -Personalized gifts BE OBSESSED OVER THE SMALL THINGS * Take pride in what you do – in the small things. * Let the small things ground you into the present – ...
